Terms and Conditions of Booking
Terms and Conditions
The Moray Walking Festival is run by the Moray Way Association and sells tickets on behalf of event providers unless otherwise specified. This means that the final contract for your purchase will be between you and the event provider.
We will hold reservations for seven days pending receipt of full payment, up until seven days before the Festival. If we do not receive payment within seven days, the booking will be cancelled and reserved items released back to the event provider. Reservations made within seven days prior to the Festival will be payable immediately.
When your booking has been completed we will issue you with a confirmation email. It is your responsibility to check that the confirmation issued to you is accurate.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Visa Debit Cards. Please note that we do not accept American Express, Diners Club, Electron or Solo Cards. We will accept cheques drawn on a UK bank up until seven days before the commencement of the Festival.
Customer cancellation: We are unable to offer refunds for cancelling tickets to any event unless that ticket can be resold in full. Partial refunds cannot be considered under any circumstances.
Provider cancellation: Refunds will be provided in full for any events cancelled by providers. We are unable to provide any reimbursement or refund for any accommodation or transport booked in light of an event being cancelled.
Inclusion at any events will be at the discretion of the event provider who reserves the right to refuse admission to ticket holders in all reasonable circumstance without refund.
The Moray Way Association accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
The officers of The Moray Way Association make every effort to ensure that all events are described accurately and fairly. In the unlikely event that a festival reservation is made on the basis of inaccurate information every effort will be made to resolve the mistake to the satisfaction of the customer. However individual entries on this website are entirely the responsibility of each event provider and the officers of The Moray Way Association cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to alter the programme and events.
In general, dogs are welcome on the walks, providing dog owners act responsibly in accordance with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code and ensure that dogs are kept under close control in the vicinity of livestock. The decision on whether dogs are welcome on individual events is the prerogative of the event provider, especially where transport or facilities are a part of the event. If there is any doubt, please contact the event provider before booking the event.
The Moray Way Association are not responsible for the events, services, actions or failure to act of any event provider or other third party in connection with our site or service.
By booking a Festival event and accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to indemnify us against any loss, injury, fines, costs and expenses incurred by us as a result of your use of our site or service.
